Cancellation Policy
By booking Joy Space, you agree to abide by all the terms and conditions listed below and will be liable for any charges incurred during your event. - Account Hold: A hold of $400 is required during the time of your event. You must provide a current credit or debit card for this hold, which will be taken 24-48 hours prior to your event. This amount is refundable after inspection of the space. - Booking Restrictions: We do not accept bookings for 18th birthday parties or bucks nights. - Liability: Joy Space is not accountable for any injuries sustained during events on or off the property due to misconduct. - Authorities Intervention: If the police or other authorities are called, your event will be shut down immediately. It is your responsibility as the event host to remedy any issues. - Cleaning Fee: A $120 cleaning fee applies to events with food and beverage consumption. This fee covers the cost of cleaners attending on weekends and evenings and is non-negotiable. - Weekday Cleaning and Reset Fee: This fee varies depending on the type of event and is applicable for weekday events. - Rubbish Regulations: Due to Strata Regulations, we cannot take more than 2 large black bin bags of rubbish per event. These are provided. The cost of an extra communal bin removal is $350, which will be charged to the event holder. - Damages: Heavily soiled linens or hire items, including chairs, will incur charges ranging from $20 to the replacement cost of the items. - Underage Bookings: If you are under the age of 18, a legal guardian must complete the booking.
